Petroglyphs at Wedding Rocks
Olympic National Park, WA
ID# NP204

Carved centuries ago by the Makah Indians, the petroglyphs at Wedding Rocks are reached by hiking the Ozette Loop trail in Olympic National Park. It's quite a hunt to find even half of the supposed 43 rocks bearing carvings, but these were the most striking I found, juxtaposed against the seastacks and setting sun.
